Description:
This course will examine the extent and causes of gender wage in equality. It will then consider public policies for addressing the wage gap. We will look at the shifts over time in the wage gap and theories which directly treat the issue -- evaluating their degree of support. We will also examine theories and analyses that are useful in the formulation and implementation of relevant policy.
