Description:

This course will explore the web as a teaching and learning tool, from accessing information-rich instructional resources to planning and creating web-based educational environments. Furthermore, this course will present the analysis, evaluation, and design of educational web sites from a cognitive and instructional design perspective.

This course will provide guidance to educators on web design issues including interface design, usability, accessibility for people with disabilities, writing for the web, information architecture, and navigation. Students will be guided through the differences of designing print materials and designing for the web.
