Description:

Governmental Accounting in Schools is designed for students interested in a career in public finance or education. Emphasis is placed on students developing the analytical and technical skills to prepare, read, and/or interpret basic journal entries and financial statements.

While focusing on an array of specific accounting topics, students will work toward a framework for efficient and effective financial management of a school district. This is a course in governmental accounting built for non-accountants.
