PLEASE NOTE: Attendance for orientation is mandatory. There will be important information discussed regarding career services, computing, academic advising, course scheduling, and financial aid. In addition, exemption and placement exams will be conducted during orientation.
The Heinz College will hold its new student orientation for students enrolling in the summer semester (May) the week before the start of classes. Orientation is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 and finish on Friday, May 13, 2011. Attendance is mandatory.
International Students are also required to attend a new student orientation given by the Office of International Education prior to the start of their first semester of study. A variety of presentations are scheduled to provide crucial information to international students that are new to our campus. Information sessions will include: housing, immigration, campus services, health insurance, transportation and shopping. OIE orientation is on Friday, May 13, 2011.
