Resources for Alumni

The Heinz School Alumni Relations Office offers a number of services to help you remain connected with other alumni, to expand your network of contacts locally and nationally, to assist with your career development and to enable you to reach out to current students.

Eight Ways to Stay Connected

Key people and their contact information

  1. Use alumni resources to locate friends and establish new connections.
  2. Keep your contact information up-to-date so alumni can reach you and we can notify you of upcoming activities.
  3. Participate in the Alumni Chapter in your region. Carnegie Mellon Alumni Chapters are active both in the United States and internationally.
  4. Support Heinz/ISM Alumni Reunion Weekend and Carnegie Mellon Homecoming.
  5. Stay actively involved with the Career Services Offices.
  6. Advance your career through professional development opportunities.
  7. Join the Alumni Ambassadors program. For more information contact David Eber.
  8. You can help promote the Heinz School programs by:
    • Attending a graduate school fair
    • Interviewing prospective students in your city of residence
    • Contacting prospective students by phone or email
    • Visiting career counselors and/or faculty members at colleges and universities in your home town of at your alma mater.
  9. Support Heinz/ISM Programs through Annual Giving. You can make a gift online. You can choose to direct your support to funds such as the Cooper Scholarships, Internship Opportunity Fund, PPIA and other, Diversity Fellowships or MISM Annual Fund to name just a few. Even a small contribution makes a difference!
