Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Pittsburgh has been named America's Most Livable City by The Economist magazine, praised as a top U.S. destination by Rand McNally and featured in the travel section of the New York Times for its distinct neighborhoods, cultural offerings and green, easily-accessible suburbs. It boasts a low crime rate, good schools, a moderate cost of living and extensive public transportation (which is free for Carnegie Mellon students). The campus setting offers an urban environment and easy access to miles of parks and trails.
Adelaide, Australia
In May, 2006, Heinz College began operations at a new location in Adelaide, Australia, which serves as the school’s Asia Pacific education base. The Australia campus currently offers two master’s level degrees - the Master of Science in Public Policy and Management and the Master of Science in Information Technology.
Washington, DC
The Heinz College Washington DC office was established in summer 2008 to create connections to national and international policy makers and organizations. The goal is to create a dynamic and productive network that benefits our community at large and brings the unique strengths of Carnegie Mellon to positively impact the public interest.
Los Angeles, California
The Master of Entertainment Industry Management program was created to train a new generation of leaders in the entertainment industry. Students spend a year in Pittsburgh followed by a year in Los Angeles exploring how management theories and principles are applied in the film and television industries.
Monterrey, Mexico
Heinz College and Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Tec de Monterrey) jointly offer a dual degree in Information Technology. Students complete the Master of Science in Information Technology at Carnegie Mellon and the Maestría en Administración de Tecnologías de Información at Tec de Monterrey.
London, England
Graduates of the Heinz School's Master of Science in Public Policy and Management and the School of Architecture's Master of Urban Design are eligible to enroll in the University of Oxford’s Master of Science in Nature, Policy and the Environment. The combination of degrees from Carnegie Mellon and the University of Oxford will provide a student with a significant knowledge base in urban design and environmental policy issues and practices.
Querétaro, Mexico
Heinz College and Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas have partnered to offer a two-way student exchange program. Students in the Heinz College Master of Science in Public Policy and Management have the opportunity to spend one semester of study in Querétaro, Mexico. Students from CIDE’s Public Administration division can spend one semester in Pittsburgh studying in the MSPPM program.
Delft, The Netherlands
Heinz College and Delft University have partnered to offer a two-way exchange program. Students in the Heinz College Master of Science in Public Policy and Management program have the opportunity to spend one semester of study in the Netherlands. Likewise, students from Delft can spend one semester in Pittsburgh studying in the MSPPM program.
Ahmedabad, India
Through a partnership between Heinz College and the India Institute of Management Ahmedabad, IIMA students can study in the Master of Science in Public Policy and Management program for a portion of one semester.
Bologna, Italy
Heinz College and the University of Bologna have partnered to offer a two-way exchange program. Students in the Heinz College Master of Arts Management program have the opportunity to spend one semester of study in Bologna. Likewise, students from Bologna can spend one semester in Pittsburgh studying in the MAM program.
Ludwigsburg, Germany
Through a partnership between Heinz College and Ludwigsburg University, Ludwigsburg students can spend a semester in Pittsburgh studying in the Master of Arts Management program.
Lisbon, Portugal
Heinz College and several other departments at Carnegie Mellon have teamed with two of the leading schools in Portugal - Technical University of Lisbon and the Catholic University of Portugal - to offer a unique Ph.D. program focused on the study of technology and entrepreneurship dynamics.
Kobe, Japan
Hyogo Prefecture has established Carnegie Mellon CyLab Japan, a leader in information technology education and research in the United States. Carnegie Mellon CyLab Japan aims to become a center for information security education and research in Asia.
