Scholarships for Students from Colombia

COLFUTURO:

Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College Australia Campus will provide funding support of 50% of tuition for up to four candidates for each of the August 2010 and January 2011 intakes for all programs in agreement with COLFUTURO.

COLFUTURO will provide funding support “credito-beca” to the applicants for the remaining tuition (i.e. 50% for each candidate).

Applicants must have a Letter of Admission to Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College Australia Campus prior to applying for a COLFUTURO- Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College Australia Campus Scholarship.

Deadline to apply for the scholarships at COLFUTURO:  May 31

NOTE: There is only one “convocatoria” in 2011 at COLFUTURO, applicants may choose to start in January 2011 or August 2011

ICETEX:

Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College Australia Campus will provide funding support of 50% of tuition for up to four candidates for each of the August 2010 and January 2011 intakes for all programs in agreement with ICETEX.

ICETEX is a financial organization of special nature, for the promotion of the superior education, with administrative and own patrimony, tie autonomy to the Ministry of National Education (Law 1002 of 2005).  ICETEX provides financial aid to Colombian students who want to study Postgraduate programs in Colombia or abroad, financing up to US$16.000 annually.

ICETEX will offer educational loans support for the remaining 50% tuition fee to the best three applicants who obtained an offer letter to study Master degrees in Public Policy and Management or Information Technology.

The applicants must have a Letter of Admission from Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College Australia Campus prior to applying to ICETEX.

Endeavour Awards
 

The Endeavour Awards is the Australian Government’s internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program enabling citizens of the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research or professional development in Australia. AusAID (ALA)
 

The Commonwealth Government of Australia provides funding for a number AusAID Scholarships to eligible applicants for Masters level programs at this campus.
Scholarship recipients will gain knowledge and skills that they can apply to the development of their home country upon completion of their study. Scholarships include full tuition, return economy airfares, a contribution to living expenses and basic medical insurance.
