Scholarships for Students from India
AusAID
The Commonwealth Government of Australia provides funding for a number AusAID Scholarships to eligible applicants for the following Masters level programs at this campus:
- Master of Science in Public Policy and Management (MSPPM)
- Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT)
Scholarship recipients will gain knowledge and skills that they can apply to the development of their home country upon completion of their study. Scholarships include full tuition, return economy airfares, a contribution to living expenses and basic medical insurance.

Endeavour Awards
The Endeavour Awards is the Australian Government’s internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program enabling citizens of the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research or professional development in Australia. Awards are also available for Australians to do the same abroad.

Rotary Club of Madras Scholarship
The Rotary Club of Madras along with Carnegie Mellon are pleased to announce a joint scholarship program for candidates to undertake masters' degree programs at the Carnegie Mellon, H. John Heinz III College, Australia campus.
Funding support of 50% of tuition is available for up to four candidates for the August 2010 intake.
Candidates must be part of the Rotary Club of Madras and the scholarship as mentioned provides 50% of the tuition fee. The candidate or the candidate’s employer will provide the remaining tuition (50%) and living expenses.

Conferation of Indian Industry
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) along with Carnegie Mellon are pleased to announce a joint scholarship program for candidates to undertake masters’ degree programs at the Carnegie Mellon, H. John Heinz III College, Australia campus.
CII and Carnegie Mellon will provide funding support of 50% of tuition for up to four candidates for the 2010 August intake.
Candidates must be part of the Confederation of Indian Industry.
The Heinz College has an international reputation for excellence in educational programs and faculty research. Its programs in information technology, security policy, arts management, health care policy and management, criminal justice policy, policy analysis, finance and environmental policy are respected across the nation and internationally as among the elite.
The scholarship as mentioned provides 50% of the tuition fee and the candidate or the employer of the candidate shall provide the remaining tuition (50%).
The candidates may undertake either of the following masters programs, to be delivered by Carnegie Mellon’s Australia campus:
- Master of Science in Public Policy and Management (one year or 21-month programs)
- Master of Science in Information Technology (one year only)
