DEFINITION: Con·vo·ca·tion (kon"vo-kA'shun)
n. – “The act of assembling people, especially the members of a college or university.”
Convocation is a regular forum in which students have an opportunity to discuss and learn about a variety of issues. Sessions feature guest speakers, including those who lead organisations, analyse and develop policy as well as those who innovate in the fields of Information Technology and Public Policy and Management. Student Presentation: Yu Yi
The 2009 Education Without Borders Conference was held from 29th of March to the 1st of April in Dubai, UAE. The conference is held biannually for international student and aims to create networks across cultures in order to understand and generate solutions for some of the world's greatest challenges. The conference is a fantastic opportunity for students to actively participate in discussions and focuses on such themes as technology, sustainability, education and humanitarianism.
