This seven-week course focuses on fundamentals of effective writing. Assignments include employment letters, sales and public relations letters, business reports and proposals, and interoffice correspondence.

Since writing is a cumulative skill, emphasis is placed on revising and editing as part of the writing process. Students learn how to communicate professionally and convey their message succinctly using an appropriate business style.
