PLEASE NOTE: In S10 (January 2010) semester all courses that have an applicable text book are listed and all books are core text books. Therefore students are strongly advised to purchase a copy.

Textbook list for January 2010.

It is up to students to decide how and where they purchase their required core text books for each semester. It is highly advisable that students start planning their classes prior to each semester to ensure that they have selected and ordered their books ready for classes.

1.     Unibooks

WEB ORDERS
You can pre-register through http://www.unibooks.com.au/Uni_Carnegie.html by clicking on the title of the book that you wish to buy and pay for it by credit card.
Keep in mind that you will need to pay for delivery costs if you select this option. The list will only be available on the web 1 month prior to the next semester.

TELEPHONE ORDERS
Alternatively you can telephone Unibooks 8223 4366 and select 1 for the Adelaide University Unibooks store.
STEP 1: Give your name and say you are a student from Carnegie Mellon University Australia and check if any of the books required are in stock and available for you to collect.
STEP 2: If the book is not currently in stock or is currently sold out from Unibooks and you still wish to purchase it from Unibooks it is important that you request your name to be added and provide a personal contact telephone number. When the book/s arrive Unibooks will contact you.

IN STORE
Please note for the second mini class each semester Unibooks does not provide a sale period. Carnegie Mellon students can get 10% off books when purchasing through mail order (postage fees apply).

***NOTE: Any books purchased at Adelaide University Unibooks between 18th - 29th January 2010 will receive a 10% discount***

2.     Previous/current students selling books
You may also purchase your books from fellow students.
Text books for sale should be displayed on the pin boards in the student lounge.
Please note that text books may not always be for sale from other students and that any arrangements for collection or purchase need to be made directly between students.
