Professional Experience

Mr. Balestreire is the Vice President and Manger, Quality and Performance Improvement at PNC Bank, Treasury Management. The Quality and Performance Improvement Department acts as the principle consulting, education and team management function for the promotion of continuous performance improvement and increased client satisfaction specific to the quality of product delivery and service within Treasury Management.

Mr. Balestreire formerly served as the Director, Quality Resource Center at West Penn Allegheny Health System, Allegheny General Hospital; Assistant Vice President, Mellon Bank, Corporate Training and Development Department; and as a Teacher in Southwestern Pennsylvania's Gateway School District.

Education

Mr. Balestreire received his MS in Education from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976. He has over 20 years experience in Management and Organization Development and Quality and Performance Improvement in both the Finance and Health Care industries, and eight years teaching in public education. He is a past examiner for the Pennsylvania Quality Leadership Award, has presented nationally at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement National Forum and at a number of local quality conferences and has consulted with several Health Care Systems.
