Upcoming Career Events
The Heinz College Career Services Office hosts a variety of activities for you to gain information and learn about career opportunities. In addition to job fairs, workshops and employer information sessions , we also offer on-campus interviews as well as the following:
Network Nights
Network Nights are a long-standing tradition at Carnegie Mellon University. For more than 20 years, these regional receptions have brought those seeking employment together with alumni and employers in an after-work reception. Network Nights are a series of annual events, held during Carnegie Mellon Fall, Winter and Spring Break. They are an opportunity for students, alumni and employers to meet and discuss opportunities, insights and experiences.
Convocation and VISTAS
Convocation is a weekly forum in which Heinz School students have an opportunity to discuss and learn about a variety of issues. Some sessions feature guest speakers, including those who lead organizations, analyze and develop policy as well as those who innovate in non-traditional ways. Other sessions may introduce students to faculty and their research or provide a chance to raise issues with senior administrators.
VISTAS – Voices from Information Security and Technology Advancement Series - is monthly series that brings practitioners from industry to talk to students about the latest issues and challenges in information security and information technology management.
