Internship/Apprenticeship Funding
Heinz College provides MAM students with financial assistance to cover costs associated with accepting low or non-paying summer internships. Because we want students to be able to choose the experience that best matches their goals and because these opportunities can be with organizations that have limited resources, we commit ourselves each year to creating various funding resources.
Federal Community Service Work Study
Eligible students receiving federal financial aid may be eligible for internship wage subsidy through the Federal Community Service Work Study (FCSWS) Program for work in eligble community service organizations. Contact the FCSWS Coordinatorto begin the job approval process. This approval is separate and in addition to the internship approval of Career Services or your program director.
