Billing & Refunds

Student accounts, including billing and refunds, are handled by the HUB. More information may be found on the HUB's Student Account Information Page: http://www.cmu.edu/hub/sa/stud_acct_ug_info.html.

STUDENT ACCOUNT REFUNDS:

Student account refunds for eligible full-time students are processed automatically during the first week of classes in the Fall and Spring semesters. Refunds are subject to a manual review process by the Heinz College Financial Aid Office for Summer, part-time and international students. Questions about or requests for student account refunds may be addressed to the HUB.

The HUB encourages all students to authorize direct deposit of their student account credit balances into a checking or savings account by enrolling in E-Refund through Student Information Online (SIO). Students who do not sign up for E-Refund may pick up their refund check in the HUB after the refund appears as a charge on the student account.
