Dean's Circle Program

The Heinz School invites alumni, friends, faculty and staff who contribute $1,000 and above to the Heinz School annually to membership in the Dean's Circle.

In appreciation for your support, benefits include -

Invitations for you and a guest to special Dean's Circle events to thank our major donors;
Acknowledgement on the Dean's Circle donor board located prominently in Hamburg Hall, the home of the Heinz School;
Special notification and invitations to Heinz School events and lectures;
Membership in Carnegie Mellon University's Andrew Carnegie Society, which includes invitations to AcCeSs programs and other events, and listing in the Andrew Carnegie Society section of Carnegie Mellon Magazine.

Legacy Scholarships

Patrons who make a gift of $10,000 (payable over four years at $2,500 per year) can establish a named Legacy Scholarship. A Heinz School Legacy Scholarship provides support to a talented student with financial need. For more information on this giving option, please contact the Heinz School development office.

Legacy Fellowships Enable Alumni to Touch the Lives of Current Students

Steve Wilcox MS 1980 and his wife Peg established the M. Madeline Wilcox Legacy Fellowship to honor his mother and pay tribute to her compassionate and giving spirit. The fellowship provides financial support to a Heinz School student interested in exploring housing, health care or public education issues.

Steve and his family include the Heinz School in their annual giving because they believe it allows students to thoroughly explore public interest issues with a combination of solid research, quantitative and analytical skills as well as a cross disciplinary approach. Steve noted, “As a student I felt that my research projects and internship had an impact. I realized the reach the school can have.”
