Make a Gift 

Online

To make an online gift using a credit card -

  1. Go to the Carnegie Mellon Development website at https://www.cmu.edu/giving/give.shtml. This page contains a secure online form you can complete to make your gift or to make a payment towards your pledge.
  2. Be sure to designate your gift to the Heinz School by selecting "H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management" from the drop-down menu in the "Designation" field. To designate your gift to a specific fund at the Heinz School, type the name of the fund in the box marked "Comments."

To make a credit card payment or to arrange for a stock or wire transfer -

  • Call the Carnegie Mellon University Office of Annual Giving at 412-268-2027. They accept VISA, MasterCard, or American Express or can help arrange for a gift of securities (appreciated stock gifts may offer extra tax advantages) or a wire transfer.
  • Please be sure to indicate that your gift is for the Heinz School.

Matching Gifts

Payroll Deduction

For Carnegie Mellon faculty and staff, a convenient and manageable way to make your gift to the Heinz School is through payroll deduction. Download this authorization form and list the Heinz School fund you would like to contribute to in the "Other" line. The form can be returned to the Heinz School Development Office.
