Curriculum
Six courses (72 units) are required for the completion of the HRM Graduate Certificate Program. Most students in the program work full time and enroll in one or two classes per semester. These students complete the certificate requirements in three to six semesters. Classes are held in the evening from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, Monday – Thursday. The evening schedule makes it possible for individuals who work full time to earn the certificate without interrupting their careers.
Though the graduate Certificate program in Human Resources Management is a significant credential, it is not a master's degree. However, units earned from the Certificate program may be applied toward the completion of the Master of Public Management (MPM) degree at the Heinz School.
