Award for Public Service

Public Service Career Opportunities Program (PSCOP)

The PSCOP program provides awards to graduating full-time students who are U.S. citizens and who accept eligible public or non-profit sector employment after graduation. Awards are based on the student's commitment to public service, Heinz School academic record and level of education debt. PSCOP awardees typically use the awards to assist with post-graduation expenses such as job-related and relocation expenses, debt repayment, etc. Awards are paid in two installments. One-half of the award is paid upon acceptance of employment in an eligible position. The second half of the award is paid one year later, provided the student maintains eligible employment. Students are invited to apply for PSCOP awards during their final year of study at the Heinz School.
