HCPM/MBA with Carnegie Mellon's Business School 

The HCPM/MBA is a 2.5-year (5 semesters) program that begins each year in late August. The program is designed to educate students whose professional careers require an understanding of the interface between the private and public sectors and the health care industry. Students begin at the Tepper School of Business and take 162 units of required core courses, including 90 units of required core courses and 72 units of required electives. Students must also meet all MBA requirements such as Management Game, Core Elective Requirements, Concentrations and Breadth. Students are required to take 108 units of course work at Heinz, which includes 66 units of required courses and 42 units of concentration and elective courses.

Applicants must apply separately to both Tepper and Heinz. Dual degree students will begin the program in the Fall semester with MBA courses. Dual degree students will not take courses at Heinz until one year later; therefore, students may apply before enrolling at Tepper OR during the first year of the MBA program. The GMAT is required of all applicants.
