The Heinz College Public Service Fair

The annual Public Service Fair connects Heinz College students with Pittsburgh-area non-profit and government employers. Organizations are welcome to attend and recruit for any available position: full time, paid internships, unpaid volunteer positions, and especially Federal Community Service Work Study positions (FCSWS).

There is no charge to attend, and your organization will be provided with a cocktail table, signage, parking for one vehicle and lunch for two representatives. Due to space considerations, it is imperative that you limit your organization’s representation to two participants. Space is limited to 50 organizations, and space is first-come-first serve.

As mentioned, many of our students qualify for the Federal Community Work Service (FCSWS) program, which permits them to work 150 hours per academic semester for qualifying non-profit and local government organizations at a low cost to your organization. This is a great program to obtain quality talent for a low cost. Learn more about the FCSWS program.
