Digital Branding Workshop
Thursday, October 6, 2011 | 12:00PM
When someone Googles your name, what do they find? If an employer asks for a personal URL, where would you point them? If they connect with you on LinkedIn or search for you on Facebook what would they find?
In today's job market, managing your brand online is a prerequisite in the same way you need to refine your resume. In fact, many would argue your online identity is more important than your resume.
In this hour workshop, Sean Ammirati, Chief Operating Officer at ReadWriteWeb, will cover both overall strategies to consider as well as specific techniques you can start immediately to improve the way potential employers will look at your digital brand.
Prior to becoming ReadWriteWeb's COO, Ammirati was Co-Founder & CEO at SaaS startup mSpoke, which focused on semantic processing and content recommendations and ultimately was sold to LinkedIn. Prior to that Mr. Ammirati was involved in a few other venture backed startups and was a Research Fellow at Carnegie Mellon's Software Industry Center. He particularly is interested in technology and how it is changing media's creation, optimization and delivery. Sean holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Grove City College.
