Recruiting Without Visiting Campus

If you are unable to recruit on-campus because of time or budget constraints, we offer off-campus options to connect with our students.

Networking Events

Employers have found our Networking Events helpful in meeting with students at their home office, thereby lowering their cost of recruiting.

Resume Collection

Employers are also encouraged to send job descriptions to Osana Steave, Recruitment Coordinator, ods@andrew.cmu.edu. She will conduct a resume collection and send resumes to you in one package for your review. Employers may then schedule telephone interviews with candidates of their choice.

Resume Book on CD

Resume books on CD are available in the Fall and Spring Semesters at no charge. They contain approximately 200 resumes and are organized according to program and graduation date. Please send your request to cs77@andrew.cmu.edu, and provide your contact information and mailing address

Videoconference

Videoconference interviews are another option, using either ISDN (telephone) or IP (Internet Protocol) technology. There is a fee for videoconferencing, based on the amount of time needed. Contact the Recruitment Coordinator for more information.
