CIOI - Leadership

Leadership requires vision, but bringing visions to fruition can be a remarkably difficult task. Even good ideas that are presented to employees who recognize the need for change can encounter resistance because change engenders fear and uncertainty, as well as excitement and hope. This course uses and further develops the participants’ understanding of the range and complexity of the fundamental aspects of leadership to reflect current challenges between employers and employees. Using the most recent leadership research and powerful assessment and feedback tools, this program spotlights the issues and perceptions surrounding CIOs’ leadership and work experiences. In addition to identifying strengths and development areas, and examining models for building coalitions and support, participants explore the unique choices and tradeoffs they face as CIOs. This course will sharpen your awareness of your own potential as leaders and improve your leadership performance.
