MSISPM Careers in Information Security & Assurance
If you are interested in pursuing careers in the various facets of Information Security and Assurance Carnegie Mellon’s MSISPM program can help you achieve this goal.
Recent graduates from the MSISPM program are placed not only in leading Fortune 500 companies, various public sector organizations, federally funded agencies, or defense organizations that develop policies/products related to information security, information assurance, and risk management but several chose to work with management and technology consulting firms as well.

Students who receive the Federal Cyber Service: Scholarship for Service (SFS) are required by the terms of the scholarship agreement to complete a mandatory summer internship and work for at least two years with a federal government agency or Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC). Heinz College has been 100% successful in placing students who are required to meet the conditions of this scholarship.
Needless to say, at Heinz College we treat Career Services as seriously as we do our academics. Our Career Services staff will help prepare you secure employment through several career counseling activities and create opportunities to meet prospective employers at various networking events and job fairs.
