For applicants with over three years of professional work experience, the one-year, May to May program is designed to position you for a fast-track career as a business technologist. This extensive three semester program is professionally focused with the end-game being a superior job placement in "corporate America."
The MISM degree requires you to demonstrate proficiency in technology management, IT Strategy, and fundamental business skills.
The required courses are designed to build core competencies in integrating technology management with business expertise with courses ranging from Economic for IT to Object Oriented Programming in Java. As a student in the MISM program, you also have the flexibility to choose from a range of challenging elective courses designed to help you excel in an increasingly digital world.
Students in the one-year, 16-month and 21-month track complete the same course requirements as described below.
If you have a strong background in any of the required courses, you can receive an exemption with permission of the instructor. Exempting a course doesn't reduce the required number of courses you must complete. However, you can add more elective courses to expand your knowledge base.
