Information Technology

The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) program is designed specifically for working IT professionals who seek a world-class master’s degree without having to leave the workforce or relocate to campus.

Gaining value from technology requires an understanding of how technology interacts with business processes, strategy, and policy. The Heinz College’s Information Systems Management curriculum is unique from other graduate schools because we integrate these disciplines into a coherent area of study. Our professional master’s degree programs are designed to develop IT leaders who can apply technology in innovative ways to achieve business goals.

The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) is a part-time master’s degree designed specifically for experienced IT professionals who seek a reputable program they can do alongside their career. With our evening and distance class options, you can pursue one of the following Heinz College MSIT degrees from nearly anywhere in the world:

Each MSIT degree offers a small set of core courses focused on its particular curriculum track and a larger pool of electives to give you greater flexibility to choose courses that fill in work or academic gaps and advance your career path going forward. In addition to our elite on-campus evening program, our distance education program has been successfully delivering quality information technology management education since 2001. You’ll receive the same diploma and the same high-caliber education from expert faculty as our campus-based students.

The Heinz College also offers MSIT programs at our Adelaide, Australia campus, including study abroad and full-time options.
