Courses in the MMM program take advantage of the professional work experience you bring to the classroom. We provide a professional, problem-solving approach to learning that combines theory with practical tools and real-world application. The MMM involves on-campus residential sessions and distance learning coursework to allow you to pursue a full-time degree while continuing to work in an unrelenting industry.
During the degree's 18-month period, you'll spend approximately 15 hours per week on coursework, which is a combination of reviewing lectures, reading, essay writing, case study analysis and quantitative homework completion. Interaction with instructors and other students via discussion boards and e-mail is an important feature of the distance courses at Heinz College. Students take classes with their pre-assigned cohorts, which are formed according to their start dates.
Students attend four 4.5 day on-site sessions and complete 9 distance-learning courses as part of the degree.
