Educational Technology Management
The Educational Technology Management (ETM) concentration provides you with the necessary skills to lead an organization into the future as a technology specialist.
Courses address the important facets of information technology and management relevant to today’s organizations. You'll be equipped to manage the integration of technology into the day-to-day operations of organizations across sectors, whether it's in the classroom, government, corporate world, or non-profit organization.
In addition to the core coursework, if you pursue this concentration you must successfully complete the following:

- Technology, Goals and Assessment
- Integrating Technology into the Curriculum
- Technology, Evaluation and Research
- Technology and Educational Restructuring
- Technology and Staff Development
- Educational Technologies for Managers
- Legal Issues in Information Technology in Public Education
- Information Technology Strategy and Management
You are also encouraged to choose 12 units of electives from the following list:
- Multimedia
- Organizational Change
- Principal’s Role in Instructional Technology
- Internship*
* Students who wish to obtain Pennsylvania Department of Education are required to complete a supervised internship.
