Delano Receives Good Government Award

Jon Delano, Heinz School adjunct professor, KDKA-TV money and politics editor, and Pittsburgh Business Times columnist, is the recipient of this year's "Good Government Award" from the League of Women Voters of Greater Pittsburgh. This award, honoring outstanding civic leaders, was presented on October 16th at the 2003 Good Government Award Dinner. Professor Delano "spends most of his waking hours explaining the political world to people who feel they've been cut out of the process," according to an editorial in the October 20th issue of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. The League has honored him for taking complex policy, governmental and political issues and making them understsandable to any audience.
