Carnegie Mellon Top Ranked Contributor to Operations Research

In the most recent issue of Interfaces, a publication of INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and Management Science), Michael Rothkopf ranks Carnegie Mellon at the top of universities contributing to the practice literature of operations research.

Carnegie Mellon attains this ranking with no department of operations research. Heinz School faculty among the top contributors in the field of operations research include Ramayya Krishnan, Rema Padman, Jonathan Caulkins, Al Blumstein and Michael Johnson. Professor Krishnan is a past president of the INFORMS Computing Society.
