Pakistani Relief Efforts

MPM alumnus Sofyan Yusufi is volunteering for the Association for the Development of Pakistan (ADP), a Boston based non-profit founded by a group of young Pakistani professionals, whose mission is to enhance the lives of the poor, neglected and underprivileged of Pakistan by providing support for carefully selected social development projects in a range of sectors including infrastructure, environment, healthcare, education, gender equality, and labor and food rights.

ADP is currently coordinating efforts to assist Pakistan after the devastation of the October earthquake. There are several vehicles for relief, including the Edhi Foundation, which is providing food, coffins and blankets; the President's Relief Fund, overseen by President Pervez Musharraf: and ADP's Earthquake Redevelopment Fund, which will be used to address the longer term needs of the affected areas.

For more information or to make a donation, please visit the ADP web site.
