Nagin Studies Aggression and Violence
Evidence points to toddlers, rather than teenage boys, as the most
physically aggressive people in the world. The research of Daniel S.
Nagin, the Teresa and H. John Heinz III Professor of Public Policy and
Statistics at the Heinz School, focuses on the evolution of criminal and
antisocial behaviors, the deterrent effect of penalties, and the
development of statistical methods to analyze longitudinal data.
