Technology in the Arts Conference

The Center for Arts Management and Technology (CAMT), a division of the Institute for the Management of Creative Enterprises Technology in the Arts Conferenceat the Heinz School, is hosting the inaugural Technology in the Arts conference at Carnegie Mellon on Oct. 20-21, 2006.

The conference is a meeting place for the national arts community to discuss technology's impact on arts management. Guest panelists and lecturers will provide insight into how their organizations are using technology to streamline arts funding, planning and programming. The lineup includes information on:

  • Funding Technology Projects
  • Leading with Limited Authority
  • Content Management Systems
  • Technology-Based Art
  • Effective and Affordable Podcasting

In addition, the conference will feature two outstanding keynote speakers – Carnegie Mellon’s own Donald Marinelli and celebrated artist Faith Ringgold.

To wrap the conference in style, CAMT will celebrate a decade of service to the arts community with camt@ten.
