Internet Auction Fraud Detection

Heinz School PhD Student Bin Zhang's paper, "Toward Comprehensive Model in Internet Auction Fraud Detection" has been accepted by the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS-41).  The paper will be presented as part of the minitrack Knowledge Discovery for Managerial Decision Support during the conference in Big Island, Hawaii, in January, 2008

This mini track focuses on information systems and decision support aspects of data mining, with emphasis on data, text and web mining.

Zhang's research interests include agent-based systems, e-government, conceptual modeling, IT strategy, and data mining.  He holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and Decision Sciences and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Louisiana State University.
