Babcock Featured in New York Times
Linda Babcock, James F. Walton Professor of Economics, discusses the evolution of her research on gender and negotiations in the New York Times Sunday Job Market.
Babcock, with Sara Laschever, is the author of “Ask for It." Their 2003 book, "Women Don’t Ask: Negotiation and the Gender Divide" was named by Fortune Magazine as one of the 75 smartest business books of all time. She is the founder and faculty director of the Program for Research and Outreach on Gender Equity in Society (PROGRESS). Her research is conducted at the interface between economics and psychology with a focus on the area of negotiations and dispute resolution.
