MSPPM Alumnus Receives Third PASBO Achievement Award


Christopher Berdnik MSPPM 1995 is the recipient of the 2008 Award of Achievement from the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO). The basis of the award was Berdnik's entry entitled "The 2006-2007 Duquesne and Pittsburgh SD Business Office Partnership," which, according to PASBO "exemplifies the commitment of school business officials to improve the quality of education in Pennsylvania school districts."

Berdnik, who is Chief Financial Officers of Pittsburgh Public Schools, was recognized on March 5 at the First General Session of the PASBO Annual Conference. He is also the recipient of the PASBO Achievement Awards in 2005 and 2006.
