The Gender Pay Gap is Real


Linda Babcock responds to recent questioning about whether a pay gap truly exists between men and women.

Babcock, James M. Walton Professor of Economics and former Acting Dean at the Heinz School, the author of “Ask for It" and "Women Don’t Ask: Negotiation and the Gender Divide" which was named by Fortune Magazine as one of the 75 smartest business books of all time. Her research is conducted at the interface between economics and psychology with a focus on the area of negotiations and dispute resolution.
