Will Casinos Cause Charities to Suffer?


Professor Robert Strauss and a group of students studied the effects of introducing casino gambling on the revenue of organizations that depend upon charity bingo games. Their study, highlighted on WTAE-TV, shows that casino gambling may cost taxpayers more to support services like volunteer fire departments.
