Arslan Aziz is a Ph.D. student at Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, with Prof. Rahul Telang as his primary advisor. His interests lie in exploring the impacts of emerging technologies on business and society. Methodologically, he employs a mix of tools from economics, econometrics, game theory and machine learning.
Prior to starting the Ph.D. program, Arslan worked as an academic researcher at the Indian School of Business (2012-13) with Prof. Amit Mehra, and before that, as a consultant in the public policy and social sector sphere advising local, state, national and multilateral organizations.
Arslan has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (2010) and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras (2008).
