Scottie Barsotti

Scottie Thomasin Barsotti is a practitioner of professional and creative writing with two decades of experience in marketing, communications, education, editing, and the arts, as well as original dramatic work and adaptations.

Scottie specializes in developing organizational voice and has applied her style of empathetic, audience-centered writing in non-profit and for profit settings, as well as many years working as a freelancer and theatre producer/educator in Chicago.

Scottie joined CMU in 2016 as a staff member of the Marketing and Communications team at Heinz College. She is currently the Senior Writer/Editor for CMU's Finance Division.
