Joe Cuello has worked in Technology and Entertainment in various capacities for 20 years. He is currently CEO at Silver Logic Labs translating cutting edge biometric testing into actionable predictive outcomes.
Joe is currently CEO at Silver Logic Labs translating cutting edge biometric testing into actionable predictive outcomes. Comprised of former executives from Microsoft, Disney and Facebook, SilverLogic Labs uses the latest in biometric sentiment analysis and applied science to provide bias-free understanding of content performance for executives in the entertainment and advertising industries. Previously Joe joined escapex as General Manager in 2017. Escapex is a tech startup focused on decentralizing social media via individualized apps, serving actors/musicians/athletes/infuencers that have significant social reach. Putting monetization and control back into the heads of the creators, escapex has launched apps for Bob Marley, Marc Anthony, Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Jeremy Renner and over 100 more global stars. Beginning in 2014. Joe worked as Chief Creative Officer of Tunecore. In this role, he oversaw all Marketing and also directed the operations of TuneCore Music Publishing Administration, which helps songwriters collect 13 different composition royalties from over 60 countries. Joe also established Tunecore/Believe’s US label services operations with his first signing, “Fantastic Negrito” winning the best Contemporary Blues Grammy in 2016.
Joe has worked with independent artists over a 20-year stretch. As a Senior Vice President, during his decade-long tenure at MTV, he established the Creative Music Integration Department, which was responsible for music across all programming. In addition, he launched promotional campaigns that introduced emerging independent artists to the MTV audience. Joe is currently an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Master of Entertainment Industry Management program. He holds a M.A. Ed. from Azusa Pacific University and BFA / Painting and Drawing from University of North Texas.
