David is the current Director of Finance at Nether Providence Township, a community in South East Pennsylvania. He is also an Associate Professor of Practice at the Villanova University School of Business.
After 13 years full time, he has moved to adjunct status to work on consulting and to be adjunct at Carnegie Mellon University. Other higher education experience includes teaching at Cabrini College, Delaware County Community College, and Immaculata University. His specialties include Public Sector, Urban Economics, Tourism Economics and Economics of art and entertainment.
He has worked and consulted for over a dozen municipalities in the last 30 years in various capacities. Additional consulting in the last few year have included many non-profit organizations in the suburban Philadelphia area.
David’s undergraduate degree was at Villanova University in Finance and a master’s degree at Widener University in Finance and Operations.
His professional associations include the state and national Government Finance Officers Association, International City Manager’s Association, Association of Professional Municipal Managers, and the State and National Main Street Associations.
David is a frequent contributor to The Bond Buyer, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and currently a weekly podcast on KYW 1060 radio in Philadelphia.
