Research Manager, International Client Service at NRG
Ashleigh Marzynski is a Research Manager at NRG (National Research Group), a global provider of market research and strategy services to the entertainment industry.
Ashleigh is a member of the international custom team, and works with all the major studios examining ways to most effectively market their films, using tools such as tracking, recruited audience screenings, focus groups, ad-tests and positioning studies. Ashleigh also works on the NRG Moviegoing Report, an annual study that measures moviegoing incidence and frequency, and examines trends in moviegoers’ behavior, such as the impact of streaming and the influence of social media and ratings such as Rotten Tomatoes. Ashleigh started her career as the Coordinator of Client Services at Nielsen focusing on theatrical ad testing, audience screenings, exit polls, and theatrical box office tracking.
Ashleigh graduated from the Master of Entertainment Industry Management program in May 2013 with distinction, and she has a BA in Communication and Arts Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point (UWSP). In 2014 Ashleigh was awarded a Distinguished Alumni honor from the UWSP Department of Communication. She spends her free time in her LA neighborhood of Los Feliz, while cheering on her favorite Wisconsin sports teams.
