Alex Moran

Alex J. Moran is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and a senior policy fellow at the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. His research aims to answer questions about the teacher workforce, focusing on policies that strengthen the teacher pipeline, reduce teacher turnover, and increase teacher diversity.  Before his current roles, Alex received his Ph.D. in Education Policy and Evaluation from Florida State University and served as a high school science teacher in Ann Arbor Public Schools.
