Executive Vice President, Sony Pictures Television

Ed Lammi is Executive Vice President for Sony Pictures Television (SPT).

An award-winning, respected leader in the television industry, Lammi is often sought out for problem-solving and for commenting on the changing business of television. In this role since 1995, Lammi has supervised production of live-action and animated series in all day-parts. His oversight includes primetime comedies, dramas, reality and non-scripted programming, telefilms, game shows, talk shows as well as animated programming.

Ed Lammi joined the studio in 1988 as Vice President in charge of production of multi-camera videotaped series. He was later promoted to Senior Vice President before assuming his current role as Head of SPT, Production.

Most recently, Lammi has been closely involved with the drama series: For All Mankind, The Boys, The Blacklist, S.W.A.T., Outlander, Better Call Saul, and upcoming series Wheel of TimeThe Accused, AlertGood Doctor and The Night Agent. Also included are comedy series The GoldbergsCobra Kai, Afterparty among others. In addition, Mr. Lammi is involved with syndicated Wheel Of Fortune, Jeopardy!, Dr. Oz, Shark Tank, $100,000 Pyramid, Joker’s Wild, Gong Show and other non-scripted shows.

Prior to joining SPT, Mr. Lammi worked in a variety of production capacities such as production manager, associate producer, and producer, for various television series and feature films including, DAY OF THE DEAD with George Romero.

Mr. Lammi’s work has been honored with a CineGolden Eagle, a Los Angeles area Emmy Award, and a Cable ACE Award nomination.

A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Lammi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Penn State University where he began his television career at the school’s Public Broadcasting affiliate WPSX-TV.
