Madeline Gent is the Executive Director of Associated Artists of Pittsburgh.

Madeline Gent is the Executive Director of Associated Artists of Pittsburgh. The second oldest organization of its kind in the country, Associated Artists is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that exhibits, promotes, and supports the work of Pittsburgh-based artists. Throughout its 112-year history, the organization has worked with artists Mary Cassatt, Henry Osawa Tanner, Sue Fuller, Phillip Pearlstein, Andy Warhol, and many others. Gent started at Associated Artists in December 2017. She came to Pittsburgh from Washington, D.C. where she previously held positions at the Smithsonian, University of Maryland Art Gallery, Michelle Smith Collaboratory for Visual Culture, and Johns Hopkins University. She completed her M.A. in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at the University of Maryland, where she specialized in 20th-century Chinese Art.
