Where Law and Data Intersect

Your background in law and justice has trained you to find truth in complexity. A Master of Information Systems Management degree shows you how to find that truth in data.

As a criminology, criminal justice, or pre-law student, you have a deep understanding of ethical frameworks, legal systems, and human behavior. These skills are invaluable in the tech world, where concerns about data privacy, security, and algorithmic bias are paramount.

Our Master of Information Systems Management degree gives you the technical expertise to apply your unique perspective to these critical areas. Information system (IS) is a bridge that connects people, technology and data to help an organization make better decisions and achieve its goals.

Your ethical compass is a Competitive Advantage

  • Data-Driven Investigation

Apply your investigative mindset to analyze digital forensics, cybersecurity threats, and complex financial data.
  • Policy & Privacy Management

Leverage your understanding of legal frameworks to design and implement ethical data governance and privacy policies for corporations.
  • Digital forensics

An IS degree provides the skills needed to identify, collect, preserve, and analyze data from computers and networks in a way that is admissible in court.

Your Career Possibilities

  • Data protection officer

Oversee your organization's adherence to data protection laws and internal data privacy policies, ensuring you meet both internal and external requirements.
  • cybercrime analyst

Your background provides an understanding of investigative procedures, while an IS degree gives you the technical skills to investigate cybercrimes.
  • privacy and compliance management

In a world where technology evolves faster than legislation, having a legal and technical background allows you to bridge the gap between legal departments and IT teams.
