Description
This course strengthens advanced writing and speaking skills for leadership roles in museums, galleries, performing arts organizations, and entertainment enterprises. Students learn to develop strategic, data-informed communications tailored to diverse stakeholders. Through focused practice in structuring information, crafting clear and persuasive narratives, designing purposeful visuals, and presenting with confidence across in-person and remote settings, students refine their written, visual, vocal, and nonverbal communication styles. The course also addresses media engagement and the responsible use of generative AI. Collaboration is a key component of the course, supported through small-group exercises, peer feedback, and team presentations. By the end of the semester, students are prepared to produce polished professional documents and deliver strategic presentations that support decision-making.
