Avinash (Avi) Collis

Avi holds a Ph.D. from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He studies the economic implications of information technologies. His research has appeared in leading academic and practitioner journals and has been covered in major media outlets and policy reports, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The Economist, CNN, BBC, Financial Times, Bloomberg, and NPR, and reports by the US White House, Federal Reserve, Senate, and UK Treasury. He also served on the Federal Economic Statistics Advisory Committee (FESAC), which advises the directors of the BEA, the Department of Commerce, the Census Bureau, and the BLS.
